We’re over the moon to share that Vanlove Fest has officially been crowned Vanlife Festival of the Year at the 2025 Vanlife Awards!

To be recognised in this way means the absolute world to us — not just as a team, but as part of a growing, passionate vanlife community that continues to inspire, create, and connect in ways we never imagined.

What This Award Means To Us

Being named Vanlife Festival of the Year isn’t just about throwing a great event (though we do love a good party on the runway!) — it’s about building something meaningful, something that makes people feel seen, welcomed, and inspired.

From the very beginning, Vanlove Fest has aimed to be more than a festival. We wanted to create a space that felt like home — where conversations flow, friendships form, creativity is celebrated, and the incredible lifestyle we’ve all fallen in love with is at the centre of everything.

This award acknowledges that dream — and tells us that we’re on the right track.

How It All Started

Vanlove was born out of a passion to unite the amazing people in the campervan community, and celebrate the freedom and adventure these brilliant vehicles deliver. Is it ok to treat a campervan or motorhome as an extended member of your family? We think so!

Whether online or at one of our events, Vanlove offers a welcoming and safe space—a true home—where you can connect with like-minded individuals, share stories, and embrace the spirit of life on the road, whether you're full-time, part-time, or just curious.

Vanlove Fest continues to lead the way in building an inclusive and vibrant vanlife community. Our flagship festival in York, on the iconic and unique Elvington Airfield, serves up memories and friendships that last a lifetime.
